    Explanation

    - John Lyly wrote The Anatomy of Wit, a prose romance published in 1578. ✓More Examples: > The child shows the man as morning shows the day. (সকালের সূর্য যেমন দিবসের প্রতিচ্ছবি, তেমনি একজন শিশু একজন পরিপূর্ণ মানুষের প্রতিচ্ছবি) > The boy is as ferocious as dog. > My love is like a red rose. > Youth like summer morn. > You were as brave as a lion. > My heart is like an open highway. > My heart is like a singing bird. > He is as cunning as a fox. > Our soldiers are as brave as lions. > To follow knowledge like a sinking star. > Shimu's face Is as bright as the moon. >> Life is like a dream. > My love for you is as deep as the ocean. বিঃদ্রঃ একই জাতীয় বস্তুর বা বিষয়ের মধ্যে তুলনা হলে Simile হবে না। যেমনঃ Nazrul Is like Shelley (এখানে দু'জনই ব্যক্তি বা একই বৈশিষ্ট্যের, তাই like থাকা সত্ত্বেও তুলনাটি Simile হবে না। কিন্তু Nazrul is like a lion/tuger. (এখানে Nazrul এবং lion/tiger শব্দ দুটি একই বৈশিষ্ট্যের নয় এবং Like-এর উল্লেখ আছে, তাই তুলনাটি Simile হবে।) Grammar: The noun simile can be countable or uncountable Plural Similes / Similia.
